DMF General Journal Import Offset Account automatic population

When importing via DMF, using the general journal entity, I leave the offset account blank but populate the main account.

For some of the lines, where the offset account is defined against the main account, it is not being populated automatically as part of the DMF import.

If a general journal is created manually and the same main account entered, the offset account is populated automatically.

Does DMF not perform the same kind of automatic population as using the UI?

I have the same question (0)

    Hi Dynamickey

That's right, when you do import using DMF, all standard validation will not work. You have to provide details in the file itself.

Let us know if this helps.

    Thanks,
