recently I have faced with a problem which is CRM has generated an activity(by a workflow) that has to send an email to other users.
the activity is created successfully and email activity either but all emails get stuck in /pending send/ status and in the end will end up with /failed/ status/. (after 9times attempts to send).
if I select my mailbox and hit the /TEST & ENABLE MAILBOX/, first /outgoing email/ switches to /failed/(after connection testing with mail server) and if I select the mailbox and push that button again, it will switches to success status and bunch emails with /pending send/ status will be sent.
this issue happened to me when our network team updated our mail server. all ports, incoming and outgoing URL and configurations verified by admins but problem still remains and literally have no idea how can I handle it. I have googled everything and couldn't find anything.
I have installed outlook on my CRM server and synced my mailbox within, sent an email from outlook with that mailbox to other email address and also received email from different email addresses both successfully. so my mail box and email address is working properly but I don't know why can't establish a connection with mail server automatically. instead when I hit the /TEST & ENABLE MAILBOX/ a test mail is created and sent to my inbox and bunch of pend send emails is sending too.
Is there anybody can help me?
