What set up needs to be made to generate GDPdU data as requested by German financial authorities? Are there any special settings to be made? Our dtd.file and xml file keeps empty after going through set up and selecting some of the tables.

    Good morning KFrankland,

There is actually no "standard" for setting up the German GDPDU feature as every auditor might request other information. Yet, it is always good having a template on hand that can be adjusted for your specific company. How such a template can be setup is described here: blogs.technet.com/.../gdpdu-in-ax-2012.aspx

    All the best,

    Ludwig

We have got a description for all needed tables and fields from our auditor.

Perhaps you can ask for it.

"Exportanleitung Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009 (Axapta)".

AX 2012 has it's own description.

Hello Michael, Great :-) Maybe you have the chance to provide this demo file as an attachment to this post for all other community members?! Would be much appreciated. Thanks, Ludwig

Hello Ludwig, you are right, there is no "standard" for setting up.

The documentation (pdf) we got, is for NRW.
If you'll try a demo, you can use the link you've mentioned.

But if you'll be sure, that you do the right export for your auditor, ask your regional tax authority.

They have an IT that can help, and in NRW you should get the same doku as we got.

    Hi

How to generate the company specific data for Gdpdu. when i export the data I assume it pulls data from all the companies but not just the German legal entities. Is there a way to pull company specific data?

    Thanks

    Hello,

Is there a similar document for D365FO ?

Also, is there a certification that shows D365FO is GdPdu compliant?

    Regards

    Hello Anca Lungu,

What kind of document are you looking for?

Something like the documentation you can find here:

    https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics365/unified-operations/financials/localizations/emea-deu-gdpdu-audit-data-export

Would be great if you could clarify.

    Many thanks and best regards,

    Ludwig

    Hi Ludwig,

I was referring to a document similar to the on for 2012 that you made available above  blogs.technet.com/.../gdpdu-in-ax-2012.aspx

I am struggling to find a way to make sure that the configuration in D365FO meets the GDPDU requirements.

I have used one of your blog postings actually to add Fixed Assets because it is not part of the standard GER . Now that i finished the config and generated some files i need to understand weather these files capture all the information that the tax authority in Germany require.

    Regards
