We are importing a bunch of sales leads from Salesforce to Dynamics and want to make sure that the associations to the proper account are retained, as well as to the proper user. Salesforce of course has a unique ID for each account and each contact in SF references that account ID. But how do you transfer those associations over to Dynamics? Thanks

Since Salesforce does not have a native integration with Dynamics 365, transferring an account and associated contact automatically is only partially possible (the rest is a manual process).
You can try to export the Accounts and associated Contacts from Salesforce to an Excel file, then you must give it the correct format (Dynamics 365 has some templates for importing records) to import it into Dynamics 365. Later, you must map the source data within the existing data in Dynamics 365.
By doing the above, you will have the migrated account and associated primary contacts.
