Support Portal Chat functionality

Hi, I have placed a chat widget on my Support Portal but when users click on it, the message shown is /We are unable to load chat at the moment. Please try later/
 
What's the reason for this? In creating the Chat widget have I omitted something?
 
Any help/advice would be very much appreciated.
