Hey,

Does anyone know what the / (*) / means in front of various entities, e.g.:

Does it mean that branch is a complete clone of that branch from another section? Or does it have some other meaning?

I have the same question (0)

    Hi,
    (*) means that the entity is a required component. It indicates that the entity is essential and must be configured and set up accordingly for proper usage.
    For example, when you see something like " (*) Line base (LineBase)," it means that the "LineBase" entity is mandatory, and you must include it in your electronic reporting models and mappings.
    Best regards,
    Kevin

    Hello Kevin,

    That notation may be relevant to other software things, but what I'm reading at:
    and at

    shows this is a Reference.

    For instance in the Microsoft Invoice Line Data Model we see:
    and if we select:
    Go to refreenced item:
    We are taken to this parallel node in the tree;

    So I think that's it.
