Hi,
i'm actually a Salesforce consultant 5x certified, so with a good knowledge of a CRM (administrator settings, objects, permission, data model, ecc).
I would like to know which should be the main path i should follow to be a good resource for the actual market, for example what certification/skills/use cases where to be confident i have to consider.
This in the first place, second thing instead i wanted to know if there is a suggested path aswell for an entry level.

Thanks!
I have the same question (0)

The Dynamics CRM certification path is explained on learn.microsoft.com.   The Fundamentals exam below is a good starting point, as far as cert exams.  But I would just get on a project that uses Dynamics.  As you must know from SalesForce, the best way to learn is by doing.  There is a demand for Dynamics consultants.  See if you can get on a project using your SalesForce experience.  Anything is possible!  Put yourself out there!

    Hi,
Transitioning from a Salesforce consultant to a Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central consultant involves a shift in focus towards Microsoft's specific CRM and ERP solutions. Dynamics 365 Business Central, being a comprehensive business management solution, requires a blend of technical skills and a deep understanding of business processes.

As a Salesforce expert, you already possess a strong foundation in CRM systems, which is beneficial. To become proficient in Dynamics 365 Business Central, consider following these steps:
    1. Familiarize Yourself with Dynamics 365 Business Central: Start by exploring the official Dynamics 365 Business Central documentation to understand its capabilities, functionalities, and how it differs from Salesforce.
    2. Gain Hands-On Experience: Practical experience is crucial. Seek opportunities to work on Dynamics 365 projects. This could be through internships, project collaborations, or even simulated project environments.
    3. Microsoft Certifications: Pursuing relevant Microsoft certifications will not only enhance your knowledge but also add credibility to your expertise. Certifications like Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Business Central Functional Consultant Associate can be a good starting point.
    4. Leverage Existing Skills: Your knowledge from Salesforce can be quite transferable, especially in understanding client needs, data models, and CRM functionalities.
    5. Consulting Skills: Enhance your consulting skills, focusing on how to become a Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central consultant in various business contexts.
    6. Explore Resources: Recheck resources for more focused guidance and potential opportunities in this field.
Each step is integral in ensuring a smooth transition and establishing yourself as a proficient Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central consultant.
