Offline profile not syncing in the background for IOS device

Description:

The Field Service app is not syncing when the app is not open.

NOTE: in the settings on the mobile device syncing in background is turned on for the Field Service app

Steps:

Set the Inspector up for the offline profile (testuserfs1@kiwa.com)
Set Refresh app in background on
Open mobile FS app
Download data to work offline
Backend coord schedules WO to Inspector, booking is created
Inspector gets a message from the app
After 5 minutes turn off the internet/wifi
Open the app and start the booking --> network unavailable

Field Service (D365) Mobile app does not currently support background sync on iOS. That capability will be added in a future release.
