Distribute customization to client

I see documentation about performing customizations of Field Service and Field Service Mobile, but nothing about how to distribute those customizations to an external client.

When changes have been made to the existing Field Service and/or Field Service Mobile power apps in a field service sandbox environment, how can they be packaged for distribution to external organizations? Is there some documentation on this?

Hey!

The way to distribute "customizations" is by adding them into a managed solution, and then providing your clients with such solution. You can read more on https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/power-platform/alm/solution-concepts-alm and how to export your solutions on https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/power-apps/maker/data-platform/export-solutions. Unmanaged solutions are usually the ones that allow making modifications, and Managed solutions are closed solutions that contain the definitive version for distribution.

Thank you for the reply. I had read about solutions and seen some tutorials, but because I am new to this I didn't realize that an existing app, Field Service, could be added to a solution. This provided me the impetus that I needed to explore it more.
