DMF import data not appearing

Hello,

I have been successfully using DMF in D365 for quite a while, solving different issues along the way but with this I am out of ideas.

I am importing Fixed Assets. First time the import went fine and I got them in, then I manually deleted them from form and now, whenever I run import again, It says successful but no result- AssetTable remains empty. Have you ever encountered similar behaviour or have any ideas how to proceed ? Meanwhile I will try to replicate in another env.

    Hi Indrox,

    Try to debug the method insertEntityDataSource under AssetFixedAssetEntity data entity to find out the root cause. I assume that you are using this entity for importing fixed asset.

    Hi Indrox,

    Which exact version are you working with? Do you see any execution logs? Do you have data in the staging tables? I had seen a similar issue about two years ago, but can't remember the full details. So any additional background information will be helpful.

    Hi Andre, yeah I probably had to be more specific. This is 10.0.5, Nothing in logs, records appear in staging, no issues and framework says that writing staging -> target is also successful. Thats why its so baffling.

    Hi Indrox,

    There were some similar issues in the past. If you search on LCS issue search, you can find e.g. the next issue which had been fixed a while ago:

    "KB 4018825Cannot import fixed asset master records as expected"

    I would suggest to create a ticket for Microsoft Support as you are on a newer version compared to the old issue. It might be a regression.
