Product dimension groups

Posted on by 390

Hi all - I am having an issue with Product dimension groups in Product information management module.  I turned on the configuration keys for Product dimension groups (Configuration, Color, and Size).  But when I created a value by entering the Name, Description, Size, Color, and Configuration didn't get listed.  So I was unable to activate any of them.  Does anybody know what I should do to fix the issue?

    Hi All,

I want to disable the configuration in Product dimensions group . Can any one help me to do this ?

I got the below error "The Active check box cannot be changed because one or more products are associated with this dimension group. If you want to change the Active status of a dimension for a product, you must associate the product with a dimension group that has the active dimensions that you want."

    Thanks in advance. AX 2012

    Hi YanQ,

Did you properly synchronize the database after enabling this option?

Thank you Hans-Peter.  I cleared user data but the issue remains.

    Hello YanQ

Maybe you need to clear your user data in the AX client options and/or delete the *.auc files in your [username]\AppData\Local folder.

    Regards,

    Hans-Peter

Thanks Ivan.  I restarted AOS but the issue didn't get fixed.

    Restart AOS?

To clarify a bit, why I am suggesting the above:

The dimension list is cached A LOT, all the way. So that cache needs to be flushed after enabling configuration keys. Restarting the AOS should do that.
