
Hi All,
I have the issue that my company is Microsoft customer and reseller at the same time. Because the company was initially a Microsoft customer now the reseller relation cannot be established. I asked already the partner to remove the existing relation but because of ongoing licenses, they could remove the relation. And now when I try to establish reseller I receive the attached error message.
After clicking on "collect more information" I get a report with many information including following message:
“Contract between company with contextId XXXXXX and partner with Id XXXXXXX already exists. Creating duplicate contracts is not allowed”
My reselling partner suggested to me 2 options:
1) Raise a support ticket but it might take several weeks / months
2) create a new Microsoft domain, new CSP, new MPN and do the relationship using the new account.
Do you have any experience with that? I have on going proposal requests and want the correct setup before providing new licenses. How to proceed?
