We have added several new fields to standard AX that will be used for the sales order and production order picking processes. We have all of our logic working when processing non-WHS transactions but now need to test them using a mobile device.
Can someone point us to the steps required to add new AX fields to the mobile device forms? These fields will need to be populated (conditionally) and will need to pass back to the work transaction that is executed.
Thanks - Dan

Thanks for the quick reply. Between you and Ivan I have gotten a ton of direction on an area that seems to be lacking in documentation.
Dan
Hi Dan,
With WHS you have the chance to use 'Custom' work types. These are set on the Work template, but TechNet does not really explain them:
technet.microsoft.com/.../dn553184.aspx
You should find this video by Ivan Kashperuk much more helpful:

There are also three blog topics on the topic of customising the mobile device portal, but they do not appear to cover the 'Custom' work types:
blogs.msdn.com/.../warehouse-mobile-device-portal.aspx
blogs.msdn.com/.../warehouse-mobile-device-portal-architecture.aspx
