Export to Excel function suddenly missing from Custom Security Role

I’m new to dynamics CRM and have inherited a Saleshub app which has two customised security roles - a read/write and a read only. Users of both roles need to be able to use export to excel but this function has disappeared. I can’t find it anywhere as a function to enable. I’ve looked under settings > administration > system settings but export to excel is not available. Can any one tell me how to add this to the security roles as I can’t see it to check or uncheck. Thanks in advance

    It sounds like you're having trouble finding the "Export to Excel" function in your custom security roles. This function might be hidden or disabled.  it’s likely due to inadequate permissions in those roles.

    1. Check Security Role Settings: Go to Settings > Administration > Security > Security Roles. Select the custom security role and check if the "Export to Excel" permission is enabled.

    2. Use XrmToolBox: If you can't find the function in the CRM interface, you can use XrmToolBox. Download and install XrmToolBox, then use the "Export Security Role" plugin to export the security role settings to Excel. This can help you identify if the permission is missing and needs to be added.

    The roles which are assigned to you directly or you are inherited from teams, if this roles does not have Export to excel permission then you will not able to see the button.
     
     
    You can also validate cause of this issue bu debugging the ribbon.
