How to delete the Sales Quote Automatically

Hi All,

How to delete the sales quote automatically if the document date of the sales quote is above 30days and its status is open, after deleting need to add it in the archieves also, if anyone knows help, i thought of using the codeunit, I searched for the codeunit but i didnot find any codeunit for that, if anyone know about help, thanks for your advices.

Hi,

I don't believe there is a function to do that so I think you would need to create some kind of report that could run on the job queue which will delete the sales quotes based on your logic.

On the sales & receivables setup I would switch on archiving for quotes as below.

so that the quote will be archived when deleted.

1. On Sales Quotes start populating the Quote Valid To Date Field

You can also have the system automatically populate this field if in the Sales & Receivables Setup Page you populate the Quote Validity Calculation field.

2. Run the Delete Expired Quotes (Report 5172). Using this report you can delete all quotes that have a date valid to date that you specify. Starting with BC V23 you can run this report using the job queue. It wont work in V22.
