Starting NAV 2016 changes Windows keyboard language

Hello there,

Before I start NAV 2016 (according to the system tray) the keyboard language is set to NLD. But when I start NAV 2016 this is changed to ENG. Any idea what causes this?

Before:

After:

Within NAV 2016 the language is set to Dutch:

The language in NAV is not related to system language. You can choose the langauge you want accordingly to the language packs you have installers on your database.

    To change the language:

Choose the app menu, and then choose Select Language to open the Select Language window.

In the Language field, select the language that you want Microsoft Dynamics NAV to use.

    Hi Stefano,

Thanks for your reply. However, it's not the NAV 2016 language that is the issue, it's the fact that NAV 2016 changes my Windows keyboard language from NLD to ENG, with result the result that every Dutch text I type in (for instance in Skype for Business) is marked as beeing incorrect / wrongly spelled..

I've never see an issue like this and this will never occours on other localized NAV versions.

However, I've see this strange thread with your same localizeation:

I have the same problem with my NAV 2013. When I open it, it creates 3 other windows languages and assigns the ENG one by default.

I also have a test 2018 environment and it does the same thing. Automatically selects the Windows language ENG, even when the opening NAV is not in ENG.
