Hello,

My customer will start use the system for the 1st time and they want to upload already sold gift cards into Ax.

Hi Hossam ,

You can use DIXF to import gift cards. There is an entity for it "GiftCard"

Hi Hossam,

Here you go:

To issue electronic gift cards, you must set up the gift card number template in the Retail parameters form. When the sales order for the electronic gift card is invoiced, the gift card number is generated and sent in an email message to the gift card recipient.

This is not electronic gift card.

This is physical cards.

Hi Hossam,

For Physical gift cards, use your POS systems/online stores to get them created in AX using RTS functionality.

So if you want to add new gift cards it need to be done via store channel.

If you want to import existing Gift cards into AX then use the DIXF framework.

Physical Gift Card we usually import from POS system directly. Did you try that?
