Depreciation - Missing Month

Hello  - for some reason, this company's TAX book is missing the November 2023 depreciation. They were able to run depreciation from December 2023 to April 2024. (I would have thought if indeed November 2023 was skipped, then December 2023 depreciation is run, it would do a catch-up?)
Now, when we try calculating depreciation for November 2023, it does not work.
Is it because the Last Depreciation Date of the assets is April 2024?
How can I calculate depreciation for November 2023?
Thanks

Yes, that's why. The Calculate Depreciation function looks at the last date depreciation was posted so that's why it won't currently work for November. When it checks, it was already run for a date after November.

If you want to use the Calculate Depreciation function, the only way that is going to work is if the depreciation entries for December to April are cancelled. Alternatively, instead of using calculate depreciation, you can manually post the journal entry for November.

I also think that you can only post manually. But you need to consider the posting date. It is obvious that November 2023 has been closed. If you open it again, it will affect the reports so far.
You can calculate it with the date of this month and then change the posting date.

    Hope this helps.
    Thanks.
