Hi Support,

I would like to know where I can set up the Expected Scrap Value Rate% in D365 F&O, similar to AX as shown in the screenshot below.

Sincerely,

    Hi Kevin,

The link you attached seems to be related to the scrap function in the SCM module. I actually need information about the FA module, but thanks anyway.

    Best regards,
    Charlotte

    Hi Martin,

    Thank you for your reply.

Yes, the feature is indeed available for the CHN entity, but it requires enabling the SYDM and DRBM depreciation methods and Fixed Asset depreciation policies in Fixed Asset > Setup > Fixed Asset Parameters.

Afterwards, in Fixed Asset > Setup > Books, the Depreciation Policy > Percentage will be displayed.

    Best regards,
    Charlotte

I looked for the field by its label and I found it in Fixed assets > Setup > Books (Depreciation policy fast tab). But... it's only for China; you won't see it non-Chinese companies.

    Hi,
You can check out this blog post: www.alithya.com, which explains in detail what the scrap percentage is, what it takes and how to set it up.
    Best regards,
    Kevin
