hi all
i need to know how unit price can change in items details form in inventory module means
what is possible business scenarios thats can change the unit price value

Please elaborate on your question. I don't understand your question with this level of details. What unit price are you referring to? Purchase, Sales or Inventory? What is the background of your question?

Can you possibly provide some more details on your question. What Prices do you refer to (cost, sales, purchase)? Have you implemented any adjustments in this respect - as your question sounds as if something would not work properly?! If things are complex, adding the one or the other screenprint might help.

ok .. say purchase priceunit .. i noticed that the value of purchase priceunit change every N days .. and that reflected on AP when i wan't to create purchase order lines .. i think that there is some configuration on items on something like that

If the classification of this thread ("AX4.0") is correct then there should not be a released product site. What AX4 did offer though were parameters that allowed updating the latest cost and purchase price. Those parameters can be found in the setup tab of the item details form. Can you test whether those parameters are the underlying reason for your system behavior? Can you also let us know how often inventory recalculations that might induce price changes are run? (daily, weekly, etc.) and are you aware of any system modifications that could possibly cause your systems behavior?

hii ludwig .. i am working on Ax4.0 .. I found that parameters in item details form --> Price/Discount tab .. in this tab i can change the value of (price unit) field either in purchase or sales or cost .... but my issue i noticed that the value of (price unit) change automaticlay every couple of days ..
Can you check in the 3rd tab "Setup" whether the latest purchase price parameter checkbox is activated?
