Hi,

I have a logic to populate From, To values on the email which should be triggered on the onLoad of the new email or reply email.

(Reply email I mean, when clicked on 'Reply' on existing email)

It is working as expected for the new email & reply email.

But 1 scenario where i am struggling

  • If I open email, it populates From, To as expected.
  • Edit populated To and Save the email.
  • When re-open the saved email I need to stop updating From, To from my javascript.
  • I can't user formType or status as it is same on 'Reply' email and saved email'

If I check  formtype, it is '2', which is same on 'Reply' scenario.

I need to run my script on Reply scenario but not on opening saved email.

Please some one help me on this.

Thanks

Krishna

    Hi,

You can also check "Submitted By" and "Form Type" together. If Form Type is Update Form and Submitted By contains data then it is a Reply form. So, you can apply what you need under this condition.

    Sorry for late reply,

I have added a flag field on email and used it for my purpose.

@Erhan - Thanks for your reply!. I will check this option.
