How to disable add (+) button on Timeline

Hi,

I am working with an issue with Unified Interface, by default Users can add related records to timeline for resolved cases. I am exploring if there is any option to disable this functionality. Because we don't want to allow user to add notes/emails or any other type of record to a resolved incident. Please suggest me if there is any option available.

Thanks

    Hi Hayer,

Don't forget to close the thread if you resolved your issue.

Hi Goutam, thanks for taking time to reply. I have also figured out that there is no other option available OOB to hide/disable the Plus button or to disable the timeline control.

Hence, I have created a plugin to prevent users from creating related records. Reason why I opted for plugin instead of Real time workflow is because with real time workflow I need to create a separate workflow for each type of related entity.

    Hi,

Unfortunately there is not supported way to hide these button apart from remove "create" access of note entity from security role . But this will be remove access in the entire application.

What you can do  create Real time workflow and show error message when user create notes for Resolved case.

Here is the step you could follow screenshot -

Here is the screenshot of the if condition -

Put some error message  for  cancelled  -

Now Activate and here you can see the result -
