Financial reports generation denied

Hi guys,
 
The users encountered a problem where they cannot generate the financial reports. I tried to replicate the issue in both Production and UAT environment. As a system administrator I can generate financial reports in UAT, but not in our Production environment. Both the user and I get the following message:
 
You do not have permission to perform this action. Work with your administrator to verify your user permission within Financial Report Designer


I confirmed that I CANNOT open Financial Report Designer in Production, but I can open it in UAT. So, for some reason no one can access the financial report designer nor the financial reports.

This seems to be the case for all financial reports.

Any suggestion on how to resolve the issue?

    Make sure that you have the necessary permissions to generate financial reports. Contact your system administrator 

    Ensure that you have access to the data required for generating the financial reports. I

    Clear the cache on your internet browser or client application. This can help resolve any temporary issues that may be causing the error.
     
     Make sure that you are using the latest version of Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations. Check for any available updates and install them if necessary.

    Ensure that the financial reports are correctly set up and configured. Check the report parameters, filters, and other settings to make sure they are accurately configured.

    It could be an environment specific issue. Is the email address you are using to login on the same tenant as the Dynamics 365 subscription? If so, you can contact Microsoft Support with this issue.
