Hello, this is my first post on the forum, if I do something wrong I apologize.
My question is, can I change the ID of a record in CRM?
If yes, how?
Explaining my scenario in case it's helpful:
I have a queue and I need to replace it with another one, but the original queue has a connection with processes in the environment, I would like to put the same ID of the original queue in the new one that will replace, thus not disturbing the processes in the environment.
Sorry for English.
I agree with everyone else's opinion, we can't change the record id.
We have no choice but to recreate the record.
Hello Tiago Dantas,
It is the limitation of the CRM, As every record which are present in the CRM have Unique ID that is generated by the CRM internally.
And it will be not possible to change.
Thank you,
Amit Katariya
Hello,
I'm afraid you can't update the recordid, you will have to update the process in the destination environment in order to use another queue in it.
