    Hi Daniele,

Thank you very much. I think, this is the one of the most important checks on server.

I forwarded your suggestion to Technical Administrator.

If this issue still exits in system, I ask here again.

    Thanks.

    Thank you so much.

I also told this to my colleague here.

    Hi Michael,

Can you share some summary of the event logs? Are there more information, warning or error  messages around this error?

What is in your opinion the difference betweeen the AX object server and the AOS? Is it machine and service?

    Hi André,

    Thank you for asking.

AX object server and AOS have same meaning in this error topic. It is Windows Service of AX Object Server which we starts it to use AX via accessing from clients.

Machine and operation system has not any problem and they run very well.

Another information: Server operating system version is Microsoft Windows Server 2008 R2.

I asked our Technical Administrator regarding Event Logs.

He will prepare a list of them (some of them before this error occured, and some of them after this error occured, also this error too).

Then I can send them here.

    Thanks.

In addition to previous post: AOS was not new installed. Besides, it belongs to production (live) AX system and it has been used for a long time without having any system error. So, this error has occurred nowadays.

    Thanks.

    Dear All,

Technical team told me that AOS runs. There isn't any problem.

But our technical team wants to know why this happened.

I also asked them whether any installation or updates were done. They told, there wasn't any installation or updates which may cause this.

So, let's see event logs first.

    Thanks.

    Hi Michael,

It could be related to a network error/latency that temporary something was not available. It is hard guessing. If they can find something additional in the event logs, it might be interesting.

The main concern would be if the AOS is running. And it is.

    Consider following steps

Delete the .AOI and .KTI files and then try to restart the file

.ktd file is Kernel Text data file and its index file is .KTI

You will find these files in Application folder

As this is your production environment I suggest you to have full backup (Application folder and DB) before implementing any kind of solution

Please verify and let us know with your findings
