I have two clients. One is folding operations with Solomon and the other is starting up. We will still have to maintain a historical database for the old firm and would like to combine them under the new firm's instance of Solomon. Both databases use the same company id.

Is it possible for two application databases to exist under the same system database using the same company id? If not does the PSTL utility provide an avenue for remapping company ID's? Please advise. Look forward to a reply.

s it possible for two application databases to exist under the same system database using the same company id? Unfortunately no, company id's must be unique per app db/system db. I cannot add another company 0060 to a system db that already has a company 0060 EVEN if that appdb is in a different db from my other company 0060

Yes the PSTL utility can be used (do this BEFORE you attach on to the new system)
