Shadow time-off request?

Posted on by 50

Hi, I have discovered following strange behavior:

  • I have created a process for the time-off request capability to create a resource requirement and a bookable resource booking via workflow in the background.
  • Now I create a time-off request, the workflow makes everything perfect, the time off is nicely visible on the schedule board.
  • I delete the time-off request record, the corresponding resource requirement and also the bookable resource booking records, so there is no trace anymore in the system
  • Regardless, the time slots remain grayed out on the schedule board and when I open the resource's working hours, there are those time off requests visible - see screenshot. Where is this data stored and how can I get rid of it?

OK thanks I have voted for that, but this definitely needs improvement. I consider this a bug and not a feature.

When you approve a time-off request, it updates the resource's working hours. However this only works one-way, i.e. if you delete the time-off it will not affect the work hours and the area in the Gantt chart remains grayed out.

There is already an enhancement suggestion that needs more votes: experience.dynamics.com/.../
