Hi,

we are upgrading GP8.0 to GP 10 ,

can anybody help on ,

How to upgrade and it's process

what should be taken care first...

How upgrade DB and companies, and application.

is there any tools available for upgrade DB and companies.

could you please assist on this.

You are going to need to be running multiple images with different OS and different versions of SQL. Do you have the ability to create images? If you do internet searches on the upgrade path from GP 8 to GP 10 you will find directions. I am on vacation this week but have done many of these. I would need to review my images to see what the exact path was. If you want you can send me a PM and I can send further information.

You will find the correct upgrade path from GP 8 to GP 10 here. You will need to apply SP5 to GP8 before going to GP 10. If you need that service pack I can get it to you.

Can we get the Dynamics GP 8 and Dynamics GP 10 installation files now?

Because the customer is not having the media and it seems to be not available for downloads in the Microsoft Site.

GP 8 SP5 is 8.00g73. The GP 10 files are available but SP5 for GP 8 is not. The file is too big for an email so we will need to set up a remote session where I can send you the file. In what time zone are you?
