The program cannot get type information from the type library. The type library may be corrupted or have an invalid format.
Try to reregister the OLE control or Automation Server.

I installed the automation (i.e. dll) "Microsoft XML, v6.0".

Still getting the error.

Please help.

What report are you having the problem with? Is it a standard report? Or a customized one?

What's the automation you are missing? Is it the XML one you mentioned?

Also, what is the OS of the machine executing the report and getting the error?

Even though the object compiles on your dev client, you also need the DLL on the server ?

Are you still having issue, were you able to resolve it if so please post the answer and mark it as verified.

This is a very old post so i am assuming it is resolved or not an issue anymore.
