I am trying to save an opportunity as won, but not able to due to an error related to saving the contact company code.

I have supplied the company name but can't seem to supply the company code and I am getting an error msg Error code: 0x80040265

I have the same question (0)

Hi,

This can be a common plugin error and it's hard to determine its exact cause.

However, if the error is not caused by the plugin, then this error may be related to the fact that the data entered does not conform to the business rules, or that the data is null.

I suggest you check your plugins or customizations (business rule / workflow / JS form event).
