Hello,
I have been asked if it is possible to stop our Sales People from using Template 'x' unless the Opportunity Type = 'a'.
I understand I can restrict the Templates with Security Roles but that is on a yes / no per template and is not related to what information is in the record it is trying to generate from. I have a feeling what I am being asked for is not possible but thought I would ask!
Scenario:
Opportunity type = a: user can export template x
Oppotunity type = b: user is unable to export template x
I hope that helps explain what I am after.

Hello Jess,
Word templates do not include that security granularity by default, you can control from a security role if a user can view or not templates but that setting will apply to all the published templates.
