We need to have both a System adminstrator and a Business System Administrator in our group.

Is there any OOO Business sys admin in D365FO?

If not, is it the right way to make a copy of sys admin role and take away dutys in the new role?

Does anyone have a specification of the difference in duties for there sys admin and business sys admin?

You'll need to explain to us what you mean by "Business sys admin".

Regarding a copy of the System administrator role and removal of some duties, it's not going to work. It's not like the System administrator role has all the duties, it actually bypasses checks for permissions.

Hi,

Copying sysadmin do not work. What you can do is to create a new role and assign all of the duties and then remove the ones that you do not require.

Sysadmin is a very special role and has some dıfferent functionalities in the system.
