How to add Progress bar in Dynamics 365 For finance

Hi All,

Is there any way to add a progress bar on Dynamics 365 FO, ?

I have class, which treate a certain number or records, and this process take time, i would like to know how can i a progress bar that can be showed to the user.

Hi Adax ,

Looking at below existing discussion on similar topic will give you some idea about how to show progress bar , however it not required in batch job , as batch job progress is displayed on batch form

If it is a batchable class, is the user not running it as a batch process? Batch job shows progress in percentage completed and user can see his/her batch jobs from my batch jobs.

Hi Adax,

If you run the process through batch job, you should able to see the progress in the batch job form.

Go to System administration | Inquiries | Batch jobs, open the batch job which in the executing status, you will see the progress as below.

If you are not running through batch job, please see the below blog of how to create the progress bar for Dynamics AX 2009. It should be same in D365 F&O.
