Import Sales order history from another ERP?

Hello,
We are working on migrating to Dynamics NAV 2017 from our current ERP system (Visma Global).

Our customers are doing a lot of re-ordering, so sales order history is very important for us. Our original plan was to connect the SQL base of the current ERP system to PowerBI and use this to find previous sales orders on customers.

But we have decided to connect a Sana Commerce e-Commerce store to NAV, so that our customers can do orders themselves. But if we do not have the sales order history in NAV they will not show on the eCommerce site. So it is suddenly kinda critical for us to have sales order history from our current ERP in NAV.

Does anyone have any tips on how to do this? There is at least a need to put the sales order history for 40 000 sales orders into NAV.

As amol suggested, design an XMLport which will import the sales order into Navision.
