Hi,

After adding a new financial, started receiving the error message /he number of dimension values specified in xxx-xxx-xx-xx-- is different from the number set up in the active format for data entities./ when trying to import transactions for the GL.

The solution is to add an extra /-/ at the end of the AccountDisplayValue field to specifiy an empty value for the new dimension.

The issue is that we have an established file based integration with a couple of applications that use the AccountDisplayValue based on the old number of dimensions.

Is there a way to import the data based on the old AccountDisplayValue format and allow the system to default the new dimension as empty.

Need to avoid asking the vendors to change the way they send us the integration files by adding an extra /-/ in the AccountDisplayValue as most of them will not use the new financial dimension.

You may try to do with to change the parameters.

But in this case, you will not be able to use for other purposes.
