Cannot update the CRM Account record because it has a later modified date than the Customer record.

Hi All,

I am testing out the integration between CRM and Financials, but I keep running into this error when trying to Synch info from CRM to Financials.

I think one of the reasons I am running into this issue is the system time for Financials and CRM seem to be different, but I can not find how to change the system date in either.

Has anyone else run into this error?

Thanks,

Brian

You can read about standard mapping here: docs.microsoft.com/.../admin-synchronizing-business-central-and-sales

To modify direction of synchronization read more here: docs.microsoft.com/.../admin-how-to-modify-table-mappings-for-synchronization

Is there a way to force Synchronisation in one way or the other for multiple records ?

Thanks but luckily I found that I used the wrong account for the synchronization on the connection setup wizard, it seems to work ok with accounts now. Struggling with products/price lists though, products go from crm to financials but not the other way?

    Hi

Yes you are correct, accounts that are set as a "customer" should be linked to a customer record in Financials.  I would need to see some screen shots of your the CRM Connection setup in Financials to be able to assist you.

    Hi Brian

Just came across your post and wondered if you could help me. I am playing with crm and financials integration, am i understanding correctly that if you create an account in crm with the relationship type set to "customer" that this account should then be created in financials as a customer? i cant get it to work and cannot figure out why, any ideas what i have done wrong?

    Many thanks.

    Hi Brian

This happens when record has been changed in either system between synchronizations. What you can do is force syncronization (in one or the other direction) by clicking Synchronize button on Customer card for whom you're getting the error.

Financials recognizes this conflict and asks for user to resolve it by either choosing to (force) sending data to CRM or receiving it from it. It's up to user to decide which is most current record.

    Regards

    Ivan
