Hi Guys,

I have requirement for SSRS Report for Portugal.

My question is here for the LABEL to print in the report.

For example, Method of payment, Customer address etc

Shall I need to create these labels are in EN-US?

If I create those labels in EN-US, is those labels are translate in to PORTUGUISE language after deployment?

I am new to Dynamics. Kindly explain pls.

Kindly elaborate please.

Hi @CU05031448-0,

When you open the D365 FO in Portugal, do you see the Method of payment, Customer address information correct? If, yes, then you should only use the correct labels, and it will be printed correctly when you run the report in either in Portugal or English language.

Hi Waed, thanks for the response.

Actually currently I am in to development phase.

My question is what approach I need to create for Labels-

1. Method of payment - value

2. Customer address - value.

Shall I create a labels in EN-US?

Is the labels & values both print in Portuguese language after deployment in their end automatically.

Pls explain me.

Hi @CU05031448-0,

You can use already existed labels on the method of payment, in which table you are working? Is the method of payment Enum?

If yes, when you add an Enum field to dataset table, it will display two fields. one is Name, another is Label, use label field.

1. Method of payment - value

2. Customer address - value.

Can you show me sample of it? In general, it will be printed based on how you see it on D365.

Hi,

In my DEV environment, I have checked the particular legal entity for Portugal. Everything's are coming in Portuguese language for the specific Legal entity.

These are labels from the Sales Invoice report. If I like to add one more label like "Customer address".

1. Shall I create the label in EN-US for Customer address in DEV?

2. After deployment, is it convert the language to Portuguese automatically?

Note -I have checked the customer address for the Portugal legal entity, it is coming in Portuguese language.

So, no worried about the value.

Only let me know what to do for the label.

Hi @CU05031448-0,

1- For Enum inquiry, as I told you can use Enum label.

2- For your second question regarding address data, it depends how you saved the data in English or Portuguese, what do you mean by customer address? do you mean the label of customer address field? do you want to have label called customer address? if yes you can try to see if the system has label for customer address, if it doesn't exist you can create new one in English, Portuguese and any other language you want to use.

Hi,

In case you create new labels, you will need to provide the text yourself in all languages that your customization should support. It will not automatically perform a translation from English to Portugese or vice versa.

There is a Dynamics Translation Service available that can translate label files. In case you have just a few new labels, you can probably quicker create the text for the labels in the Portugese language yourself.

For our requirement, shall I create label files in EN-US language in my DEV?

After deployment in UAT, is it translate to Portuguese language through Dynamics Translation Service?

Hi,

You should create file for each supported language that you or your customer will use it, after you create the label and use it then after the deployment you will see it on your report.

Did you create the label files and add your new custom label?

Can you share more details? Did you do it and try it on your Dev?
