I opened new fiscal year, 2021 and closing 2020 is taking a long time....can i post 2021 transactions to 2021 General Ledger with 2020 still open? All subledgers have been closed.
Hello, this is Andrea and I can assist you with your question today.
No, you should not attempt to post any transactions while the GL YEC process is still going. Additionally, we do not recommend anyone be logged into GP other than the user who is closing the year. I recommend you let the process run to completion prior to letting anyone else into that GP company.
