ModelUtil.exe tool for Import and export Model files closes immediately

Hi ,

I am trying to export existing model as mentioned in this link but when i click on modelUtil.exe (which is in C:\AosService\PackagesLocalDirectory\bin) , its not getting open and looks like its open and close immediately .

Please suggest.

    Yep, that's what you usually do. You can use "cd" command to change directory, just google how to use cmd, because it has nothing to do with AX.

    yes i used cmd first but its giving modelUtil.exe is not internal and external commend...do i need to give path for modelUtil.exe in cmd ??

    it's a console application. Instead of merely clicking on the file, start a command-line console (cmd,.exe) and then use the commands explained in the article.

    Running the application without parameters isn't useful anyway.

    You probably need to open cmd first and then use ModelUtil.exe -export ...
