Hi Guys,

I installed Connected Field Service App in dynamic CRM and tested functionality with Simulator device.

Now, I want to test this app further with Real IoT devices. Any idea how to go about it?

How to connect Real IoT device to Azure IoT Hub ,so that it can send alerts to dynamic CRM and i have the device data in MSCRM.

Also please let me know if any simulator available for phone?

Thanks in advance.

Regards,

Santosh

    Hello Santosh,

I think registering a physical device in Azure IoT  is more about Azure than CRM. Perhaps you find some more information about that somewhere else.

However these links may help you to find the answer:

Connected Field Service Part 1 (Simulator):

Thanks Shayan, You are right it is more related to Azure.

Also I am looking for device which is easily accessible such as fit bit(not sure whether it is possible or not..) to connect to Azure than Raspberry Pi or MXCHIP IOT device.

    Hi Shayan,

Any idea or possibility to connect fitness bands(any band Fit Bit or Mi bands or any other) to Azure Iot Hub for Connected Field service.? or we have to play around only with Azure certified devices.

For example : tracking calorie burn count or steps count and taking same to the Dynamics CRM via Azure IoT Hub.

agenda behind all this is convincing customers on MSCRM - CFS.

    Dear Santosh,

Honestly I do not have any idea about connecting fitness bands to Azure IoT Hub. However I don't think that you are limited to those certified products.

Maybe you ask your question here in the following link:
