Hello, is anyone else having difficulty adding contact lists and Teams to a Dynamics Sales TRIAL version? Is it possible? The Co-Pilot instructions do not appear in the drop-down menu for me…

Yes, it is possible to connect Contacts and Microsoft Teams in a Dynamics 365 Sales trial, but there are some important limitations depending on which trial experience you're using.

    • The simplified Sales trial doesn't expose all features.

    • Open the Sales Hub app instead of the basic trial app to access the full feature set.

switch to the full Sales Hub application rather than the simplified trial experience and verify whether the missing functionality appears there. If you're already using Sales Hub, check that Copilot is enabled and configured for your environment. If the Copilot Instructions option is still absent, it's likely due to trial limitations, feature rollout, or tenant configuration rather than a problem with your setup. If you need those capabilities for evaluation, a full Dynamics 365 Sales environment (or a trial with the complete Sales Hub experience) may be required.

In the D365 trial version they are not providing the co-Pilate option its very minimal functionality they are provided.

Yes, that is expected. The Dynamics 365 trial environment does not include all Microsoft Copilot capabilities. Microsoft restricts many AI features based on licensing, region, tenant configuration, and administrator settings.

Yes, connecting Dynamics 365 Sales with Microsoft Teams is possible in a trial environment; however, feature availability may depend on the specific trial experience, tenant configuration, licensing, and enabled features.

If you are using the simplified trial experience, try opening the Sales Hub app, as it provides access to the full Sales application experience and may expose functionality that is not available in the simplified interface.

If you are already using Sales Hub, verify that Copilot is enabled and configured for the environment and that you have the required security roles and licenses. If the Copilot Instructions option is still missing, the cause may be trial limitations, regional availability, feature rollout, or tenant configuration rather than an issue with your setup.

For contact lists, also confirm whether you mean Marketing Lists in Dynamics 365 Sales or Segments in Customer Insights – Journeys, as these are separate capabilities and may require different licensing or application.
