AX for Retail - Manage EFT Credit Card for Elavon Services

Hi everybody

In an environment with Dynamics AX 2012 R2 CU7 and Retail POS installed, I need to know how use EFT services extensibility ( EFT.dll in SDK ) to send Credit and Debit Cards authorization and capture to Elavon Payment Services.

I already found in community AX 2009 code for EFT customization. For code AX 2012 R2, forum says to open a direct request to Microsoft ( I can't do it for authorization reasons ).

Someone already has customized this kind of code ?

Hi Massimo,

For AX 2012 R2 and R3 EFT customization is not ' suggested way' to implement custom card payments.

'Payment connector' framework is 'best practice' way to implement card payments - you need to ask Microsoft to provide you with sample solution that you can customize.

If you decide to customize EFT.dll, this will also be supported by POS; customization will be quite similar to AX 2009 code.
