Several Errors while creating Purchase Order

no cost rollup is found for this item activate the item cost price ax 2012

I am creating a Pucrchase order for my one particular product first i got the above error for product receipt part and after that working on item pricing of product. I activate the pending price then i get one more error

Item P0111 inventory model is at standard cost, you can only activate a standard cost costing type in ax 2012

for this error i deleted the already present pending price then created a new one and then make it activate but I am getting another different error i am still not find a solution. I am attaching both error image file please check and let me know the solution .

Hi, please check the setup of your inventory profile under inventory /setup/ posting / posting. The message related to the cost issue indicates that you try posting a standard cost item for which no standard costs have been defined. Please check your standard costs in the inventory costing version. Best regards, Ludwig

It is not in an active structure.

Go to Go to General Ledger >> Setup >>Ledger and look at the active account structures.

Then go to General Ledger >> Setup >>Chart of Accounts >> Configure Account structures and check the account is there.

The message is because the account specified in the posting group is not active in the company.

For the standard cost message your costing version is of type planned cost I guess, it needs to be standard for standard cost items.

Also if you mark a post as verified it means it is solved, so people generally will not look at it!

Thanks for your reply and suggestion.

I made the last answer unverified. Now according to your answer lines i checked account strucuture for my ledger and found that account structure is not activate. When i am trying to activate it still i am getting couple of errors.

Can you please have a look on them ?

Okay so you have overlapping account structures in your active account structures - you need to review your active account structures and decide why you have >1 and the structure, if you have 1 remove the overlapping ranges of accounts.

Create and assign unique dimension set values and remove the optional flag - but those are pretty self explanatory from the message I hope.

Some background from you would be useful - how have you created this company and why are you creating it etc.

Yes you are right. Somewhat I am getting the problem with your help.

As I said i am new at dynamics AX. I have done technical degree Btech in computer science and also not have much knowledge about accounting and finance.

I am using demo company USMF for this purchase order and don't have any specific business or other thing . I am just studying about purchase order whether I successfully created 3-4 purchase order in other entity but getting problem everytime in this USMF company.

The demo company USMF is set to work as standard. I would suggest other people are playing if this is a shared environment. The account structures basically need sorting/correcting.
