Getting this error on Dynamics AX 2012 R2 CU8 while "Open in Microsoft Project" a project in Project module.

"Method 'version' is not supported by the Automation interface of the COM object of class 'MSProject.Application'."

Are we missing some configuration?

    Hi Abubaker,

    Which version and edition of MS Project are you using? Please check if your version is supported with AX 2012 R2 with CU8.

    Hello Abubaker,

    Please make sure you have mentioned the directory in the General tab of Project management & accounting parameters

    Also, please ensure that Dynamics AX add-in is enabled on Microsoft Project.

    Please let me know if this solves your problem.

    i have tried the suggestion you provided but still unable to open AX WBS in MS Project 2010
