Realtime Marketing segments incredibly slow when loading members

Hi all,
 
Does somebody know why de realtime marketing segments are so incredibly slow when going live?

    Does anybody know when this 'hotfix' is due to take place? Having to wait 2-3 hours for segments to go live at the moment which really isn't ideal.

    So I heard from the support yesterday, that the performance of segments in real-time seems to be a broader issue. There will be a hotfix in few weeks. Hope this helps!

    We've experienced the same thing. One thing we've noticed is if the query is going to return zero leads or contacts, it will take a really looooonnnnngggg time. 
    If we know it's going to be a larger list, we add an email address that should show up to the query. If this query comes back quickly with 1 record we know that the query is correct and then we remove the email section and let it run.

    Hello!
     
    Had this very same issue with my recent client. Admittedly they have a very large number of contact (8 million) and we were segmenting on two custom tables, but even though the conditions in the segments were very simple (do not allow bulk email =allow plus a couple of conditions from a custom table), publishing is taking half an hour or longer. 
     
    Microsoft initially told me that up to 20 minutes to publish is 'acceptable' but they are now looking into solutions because the client is not at all happy.
     
    Suggest logging a support ticket to see if there is anything that can be done to improve the speed of your segments.

    Hi,
     
    There are various reasons for this type of problem.
    The conditions for setting up segments are too complex, and the number of members of a segment is too large.
    There are other processes in the system that are taking up resources, such as multiple journeys running.
    Network conditions affect loading speed.
