D365 F&O Credit & Collections

Hello all,

I'm trying to figure out how to create a case in Credit & Collections and associate transactions with it. On the collections form I'm able to create a new case for the customer but there's no way to associate transactions with it. In MS documentation there is mention of "assign to case" I don't see this option in D365. Can someone please point out the correct procedure?

Thank you

    Hi,

Have you checked the following feature in the aged balance form?

    Hello sidrakhan,

Can you elaborate and explain what you mean exactly by saying ... 'doesn't associate any transactions with it'?

What is your expectation that D365FO should do here?

    Best regards,

    Ludwig

    Hello,

What i mean is if i create a case the way you describe it gets created but is empty. If i go to collections cases and look there is nothing there. In older versions of Dynamics there was a button on top of transactions called “assign to case.” How do i add transactions to this new case. An empty case is no use.

    I appreciate the help.

    Hi sidrakhan,

If I create a case in the aged balanced form then it is automatically assigned to my customer.

In addition, I can assign it to a specific invoice if I like.

    Please see the following screenprint.

    Best regards,
