ODBC Connection error

(0) ShareShare
ReportReport
Posted on by 55

Setup:

Nav 5.0 Client on Windows 7 (32 licenses total)

ODBC driver: 5.0 SP1 ODBC

Issue:

Connecting with Excel 2010/Data/From other sources.../From Microsoft Query/MS Dynamics NAV database

Error message: "Your program license permits a maximum of 2 nondemonstration companies...
Database Error: 1328"

I have used this Connection for years without problems until just now.

Since January 1, 2014, there are 3 companies in the database but I had no problem using the ODBC June 30.

I have now tried to uninstall and reinstall the driver but no difference.

I have tried to add my client license file in the setup but no change.

Please help!

Did you change your license file? I think this is nothing to do with ODBC. As error says this is a problem with ur license.

    hi,

did you (or someone else) upload a (new) license to the database?
