Filter form submission with only active or relevant contacts

Hello!

We're currently facing a challenge with filtering form submissions based on the status of the contact. The issue arises because the form submission is linked to the 'Created Entity Link' entity, rather than directly to the contact itself. Consequently, this setup always shows the status as active, regardless of the actual status of the contact (even if it's deactivated).

Does anyone know how to effectively link the contact entity to the form submissions, in order to filter submissions based on the attributes of the contacts?

Thanks in advance.

Yes, The form submission is linked to the 'Created Entity Link' entity, rather than directly to the contact itself.
However, the "Create Entity Link" entity is also not directly linked to the contact, it just uses a text field to store the contact information.
If you want to get status of the related contact, need get 'Target Entity Id' from related 'Created Entity Link' firstly, then use this id to retrieve the contact.
Obviously, this process cannot be carried out in one step.
--Try to add one flag field on the 'Form submission', then use contact id to retrieve contacts to get status to update this flag field.
--Then you can use this flag field to filter form submissions directly.
--Using Flow to update this flag field automatically.

I hope you can mark my answer verified if it is helpful! If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me.
    Regards,
    Leah
