I am new to Project Operations and Plug-in development.
I need to add some custom fields to a the Pre-Image of the Microsoft.Dynamics.ProjectService.Plugins.PreValidateTimeEntryFieldsUpdate plug-in.
This is a standard plug-in, but is there any way to extend the logic of the plug-in (do not allow update of Time entry fields if status submitted/approved) to other fields?
* I tried to update the parameters for the Pre-Image of the existing Step > does not work
* I have registered a new step with new Pre-Image; here I could add the fields, but it seems that this additional step is not executed?
* i have tried to unregister the original step (to have only my customized one active) but this is not allowed either..
what can i do to achieve my goal? thanks for any help!
