    Hi L Dinh,

Can you elaborate more about your question?

There is a Gender field in Workers page and it is updated with the information in Employees form.

    Regards,

    QianQW

    Hello L Dinh,

May be you need to add any new "Gender" record in "Base Enums".

RE: How to add a new Gender

    Hello,

if you are using the D365 human resources product, there is no current way to add more choices to the standard gender field. If you are on the human resources module within D365 F&O, a customization can be done for thaat.

If you are on D365 human resources, you can try the create new field functionality to create your own gender field with other categories

    Hi L DInh,

Like mentioned above, there is no option to customize Human Resources. Can you tell what exact values you are missing in the Gender field? Next to Male and Female, you can leave the field empty or choose Non-specific. Isn't that sufficient?

I have similar requirement to add "Prefer Not to identify". I tried adding the values in Virtual Entity but it is not reflecting in HR form above.

    Thanks

    Hi JaySub,

With 'Non-specific' or leaving the field empty, there is also a kind of 'prefer not to identify'. I would agree with you that there is a difference between gender neutral and prefer not to specify.

Like mentioned above, the gender is an enumeration field. You can't add values; this it part of the application design. A workaround would be creating a custom field where you can specify you own list of values.

If you are not using Dynamics 365 HR, but the workers form in Finance and Operations, there is also not an option to add a value as the enumeration 'Gender' is not extensible.
